THANK YOU!!!

GraduationDear Wickliffe Community and especially our 5th Graders and their families –
What a glorious 5th grade graduation celebration we all had! We believe it was a testament to the great learning and teaching that happens each day at Wickliffe when most of our students chose to make speeches before taking the next step in their educational journeys. The poise and confidence that each of them showed in grasping the microphone or politely declining reinforced to me what an outstanding community we have at Wickliffe – and one which the Trents will miss dearly!
There are so many thanks that we want to make for all of those who helped to make the “graduation days” an incredible success!
First our fearless leader and master of ceremonies, Mr. Collaros. What can we say Chris? Clearly your leadership and passion for our community was clearly demonstrated at graduation and throughout the year. For that we want to thank you.
Our 5th grade teachers, Mrs. Bennett, Mrs. Blair, Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Oberlin – wow, the relationships that each of you built with every student was clearly obvious. There is no doubt that we have the most talented, caring and exceptional teachers. Your teamwork and assistance with coordinating all the events was second to none.
Lisa Card was our pool party coordinator. Aloha!  Thank you Lisa for all your hard work! It truly was fabulous.
Kate Ozello made sure that all of our kiddos had nutritious snacks that they could all enjoy. Thank you Kate!!
What can I say about Jessica Sanford and Rona Boehm. They were the “bomb” for the graduation extravaganza. A special thanks to Mrs. Zelnik and the rest of the Wickliffe staff for all of their hard work.
Many thanks to Chip Elam for all of the pool party video footage! What a fabulous job you did. Between interviews and our guest appearance from Johnny DiLoretto it was a test of our dedication and endurance! But it did allow Rich and Dara Cheung to creates those beautiful DVDs that will help us all to relive “the best field trip ever” over and over!
It was great to see Mr. Warner and Percy. Thanks for being a part of this memorable day.
Thank you to all of the parents who decorated, baked, bought and cleaned-up. We certainly could not have done it without you!!
Finally I would like to recognize my partner in crime and dear wife Kelly. She not only picked up the slack but also attempted to keep me organized – not an easy task, mind you!
To the entire Wickliffe community, please know the Trents will all miss you much but please do expect a visit from us every now and then!  Many thanks and have a great summer!!
All the best – Lori & Kelly Trent
