Want to volunteer in the classroom? This is your chance. Junior Achievement (BizTown in elementary school) is coming to HMS in our Life Skills classes this year. They are looking for volunteers to help. They are looking for at least 4 volunteers for Quarter 3, which will begin January 8th, and then Quarter 4. Right now the program is just in the 8th grade during periods 1 & 2. Volunteers can be with their child or ask to not be with their child. You don’t have to have an 8th grader to volunteer ALL ARE WELCOME! Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles- ANYONE.
There is a one-hour training that is set up based on your schedule. Once trained you will be in the classroom for one period a day once a week for six weeks. If you want you can do this with a friend- you can teach in pairs or trade off the weeks.
