In the cold of winter, the PTO sponsors a Cultural Arts Program on many of the Fridays in January and February. The program takes place during all lunch periods. Here’s a list of the wonderful activities:
January 15th: Lego Artist – Wayne Peltz from Cleveland, Ohio. He is creating a Lego piece out of 4,096 1×1 lego pieces. The artwork will be displayed at Hastings.
January 22nd: CAAMP – the band: Two UA grads will be performing music from their new album to be released this month. Taylor Meier & Even Westfall started their band at UA!
February 5th: Floodwall Press: They use screen printing to create posters, and they will make some awesome poster while they are here.
February 19th: Hastings Art Hop 2016 – This is our second annual Art show. Students may submit 2 pieces for display during lunch. This is not a judged art show, and we accept 2-D or 3-D artwork.
