Wickliffe Progressive Elementary has scheduled two upcoming holiday, music events during the next two weeks. In the past, these two events occurred on the same day. Because of space and length of time concerns (especially for our littlest children), they have been separated into two events.
4th & 5th Strings/Band Town Meeting
Friday, December 11, 2015: 8:30 AM
The Wickliffe 4th grade strings students, 5th grade strings students, and 5th grade band students will host a Town Meeting to share what they have learned this year. Music selection will be sure to please.
Winter Music Festival Town Meeting
Friday, December 18, 2015: 8:30 AM
All children, kindergartners through 5th grade children, will participate in a production of Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. This performance, put on by children and for children, is not a traditional performance. That is, children will “perform” from their seats on the floor, from up on the stage, throughout the space, with same-aged peers, across grade levels; not all in groups coming up to the stage to perform a tune or two.
