The PAWS (Pillars Alive Within School) program is a way that Hastings recognizes students and staff doing the right thing and going above and beyond. It fosters a positive school community. All students and staff can nominate other students and/or staff for a PAWS award.
As part of this program, Hastings holds a monthly drawing during Town Hall Meetings. The Staff pulls two PAWS awards from each grade level bin and those students (6 total) each receive a $10 gift card.
In addition to student recognition, over the past year Hastings has incorporated staff recognition as part of our PAWS program. Just as with student awards, there is a monthly drawing from the Staff Members box of PAWS award winners. They receive a gift card.
The PTO supports PAWS with the donation of the gift cards. Parent generosity in the past has allowed this program to grow. Please click on this link to donate a gift card:
