PTO is assisting the Hastings Teaching and Counseling Staff with Gift Cards that are awarded to our children during monthly town meetings. The program is called PAWS (Pillars Alive within School) where kids are “caught” using behavior that is consistent with positive ethical behaviors. Teachers, staff and peers can write a positive message about another child in the counseling office area. During each monthly PAWS town hall meeting there are drawings for each grade- this is when the GIFT CARDS are given out.
